Limbo is no place for a game like this. Beyond Good & Evil's return has been rumored for years, but now there's a twist in the tale, Nintendo might be funding its return!
This is strictly a rumor at this point but the prospect of the title's return is a rather lucrative one, especially if you look at the amount of fans the franchise has.
Nintendo, a pioneer in animated gaming, might be looking to bring Beyond Good & Evil back to our game screens and in a surprising manner too, as a Nintendo NX exclusive.
According to Destructoid the source of the information is believed to be Alexander Maier, who published new Nintendo NX details just a few days ago. Maier claims that Nintendo is currently working on a project labelled Beyond Good and Evil: The Prejudices of Philosophers.
The title is apparently linked to a text written by Friedrich Nietzsche, which details the concept of looking beyond both good and evil, and how authority can change the complexion of morality.
Rumors have been circulating about Super Smash Bros, Zelda and even Dragon Quest possibly being the NX's launch title, but so far Nintendo has not confirmed any games. The potential arrival of a new Beyond Good & Evil game could get fans on their side, so to speak, ahead of the console's launch.
Many gamers have been waiting for Beyond Good & Evil's return for a long time and rumors are never too far away. Fans can only hope this time it's not a rumor, but a prospect for the future.
