Assassin’s Creed Origins released back in October and has seen plenty of support from Ubisoft since release. While Ubisoft supports Origins, another studio has allegedly been working on animation for another studio.
An employee of this studio (which will not be mentioned to preserve the source), has reportedly revealed the code name of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed game. Speaking with PlayStation Universe, the source stated that the upcoming game is being called Assassin’s Creed Dynasty.
An insider found on ResetEra, named John Harker, has clarified that ‘Dynasty’ is the code name for the upcoming game and that it is not set in China, as is being suggested. The codename for Origins was ‘Empire,’ which didn’t quite suggest Ancient Egypt – at least until we saw the pyramid.
Interestingly enough, Ubisoft included an ‘Eastern Dynasties Pack’, which appears to be themed after Mongolian armor with the fur lining, helmet, and general design. It should be noted that there has been no confirmation on which country of origin the armor is from.
With the code name for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed being ‘Dynasty,’ where do you think it will be set?
