It appears as though we will be hearing more about Cyberpunk 2077 this year. A new rumor, citing two different sources, has detailed that CD Projekt Red plans on showing the game off during E3 2018.
Last week, CD Projekt Red broke the three-year-long bout of silence on Cyberpunk 2077’s official Twitter account, suggesting that new announcements would be coming this year. Following this, a rumor on the game’s current state surfaced. According to the rumor, Sony had received a tech demo for the game showing that the game is in a playable state.
GRYOnline, a Polish gaming site, has shared a rumor that CD Projekt Red will be revealing a trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 during E3 2018 and will allow journalists a hands-on opportunity with the game behind closed doors.
If the previous rumors are true and Sony did receive a playable demo of the game, it is possible that CD Projekt Red will be bringing a demo for journalists, as well as a trailer. CD Projekt Red took this route once before with the release of The Witcher 3 during E3 2013.
This would be the first time CD Projekt Red shows off Cyberpunk 2077 since its first trailer was shown in 2013. Cyberpunk 2077 was first announced back in 2012.
