Shuhei Yoshida confirmed an expansion for Bloodborne in May and contrary to what you may have thought, Bloodborne and new DLC doesn't mean that FromSoft has completely forgotten about the Dark Souls franchise.
According to sources, Demon's Souls, Dark Souls and Bloodborne director Hidetaka Miyazaki is back at the helm instead of acting as a supervisor like he did during Dark Souls 2's development.
Best news yet, the source claims that Dark Souls 3 will be announced by Namco during E3 this month. Whether or not Dark Souls 3 will be exclusive to one console has not been revealed, but it is not expected. Fans of the Souls series were pretty upset over the Bloodborne's PlayStation 4 exclusivity. In the past, the Dark Souls games have been available across multiple platforms in the past and the exclusivity of Bloodborne should not impact the platforms Dark Souls is on.
