Rumor: Dark Souls Trilogy in development to release on Nintendo Switch

When the Nintendo Switch was first revealed, a list of about 30 third party developers was revealed along with it. One of those, From Software, had many players excited and thinking we may actually get the Dark Souls franchise on Nintendo. Well, a new report has those rumors nearly solidified.

According to Let's Play Video Games, From Software already has Dark Souls running on the Switch at an acceptable performance level. The plan is to release a Dark Souls Trilogy with all DLC bundled in for the Switch, and release it the same day as the PS4 and Xbox One version. The trilogy has yet to be announced by From Software,

Development on the Switch version is nearly done with only sales data for the console being the remaining factor for From. If this is true, and the Switch being the most anticipated console in a long time, the Dark Souls trilogy on Nintendo is a question of "when" and no longer "if".
