Rumor: Doctor Strange to debut in Netflix’s Iron Fist

Is the Marvel universe going to overlap that much on Netflix?

In December of last year it was announced that Benedict Cumberbatch will be taking the role of Sorcerer Supreme in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie. We still have plenty of time before November 4th, 2016 which means that there's plenty of time for Doctor Strange to make some cameos, right?

Sources are claiming that Doctor Strange will make an appearance in Marvel's Netflix shows. Whether or not this is true can be disputed, but let's take a look at what they are saying.

It is being rumored that Doctor Strange will be making an appearance in Marvel's Iron Fist series on Netflix. Marvel's Iron Fist is part of the Defenders series that will run exclusively through Netflix. The Defenders are composed of Marvel's Daredevil, Luke Cage, A.K.A. Jessica Jones and Iron Fist. Iron Fist is set to air sometime late 2016 or 2017, so it will be a while before we know if this rumor will prove to be true.

It was not mentioned whether or not Benedict Cumberbatch will be the one making the appearance (if it does happen).

In other Marvel news, Daredevil has been signed up for a second season on Netflix.
