Rumor: George Miller could be taking over Man of Steel 2

Rumor is assets from two of this summers’ most fun movies might be merging to give us the Man of Steel sequel we deserved the first time around. Mad Max: Fury Road’s George Miller is being batted around as the director of Man of Steel 2 by the likes of Jon Schnepp (The Death of Superman) and others.

Henry Cavill also proved in Man from U.N.C.L.E that when given the right material he can pack all the charm and personality into a role that would ever be needed. Something that was pretty doubtful after the stinker that was the first Man of Steel.

If rumors prove true and the team up happened it would likely lead to a treat for moviegoers. At this point, who really knows the truth, but George Miller is in pretty good standing with Warner Bros at the moment and was originally going to direct the first Justice League attempt seven years ago.
