Rumor: Here’s who Spider-Man is rumored to fight in Captain America: Civil War

The Spidey rumors are tingling

We've known for a while now that Tom Holland will make his first appearance as the new Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War; but, who he'll fight in the movie remains a mystery.

However, if a new rumor from Heroic Hollywood is to be believed, than fans can expect to at least see Spider-Man throw down against Captain America. The specifics haven't been detailed yet, but the Hollywood scoopster claims we can expect "a major showdown" between these two iconic Marvel heroes.

We last heard that Spider-Man will be part of Team Iron Man in the showdown versus Captain America in the film, but why the character chooses now to show up (aside from Marvel hyping his upcoming standalone film) is still in question.

We know, based on what we've heard from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, that the new Spider-Man film won't be an origin story, and that it will pick up "a young kid [already] running around New York City in a homemade version of the Spider-Man costume in MCU." We've also heard that Tony Stark, at the end of Captain America: Civil War, is the person who gives Peter Parker a new suit.

So does Spider-Man just pop up out of the blue when it's discovered the government wants to install a system  of accountability and governing body that determines when the services of the Avengers should be called in? Or does he have another reason to fight Captain America? Will Captain America: Civil War hint at Spider-Man's foe? Ah, so many questions!
