I suppose it was only a matter of time, but it looks like Horizon: Zero Dawn will be getting a comprehensive Game of the Year Edition. GOTY Editions are nothing new, as waiting out a big game release for about six months-ish will usually pay off with one. This leak (which has since been taken down) comes from the Chinese retailer PlayAsia, which lists an expected release date of December 5th, 2017.

What's interesting is that (assuming it's true) the Horizon's GOTY Edition would pretty much declare that The Frozen Wilds will be the game's only expansion. Just for comparison's sake, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt released its Game of the Year Edition well over a year after the game's initial launch, so it does feel a bit too early for Guerrilla Games to be already looking to launch one. Then again, stranger things have happened.
As with all rumors, take this one with a grain of salt, mainly the release date. Though the game actually getting a GOTY Edition at some point is all but a foregone conclusion.
