There's been plenty of silence around the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 3, but there seems to be a break in the silence – but not from the developers. Two images have surfaced, one focusing on gameplay in Monsters Inc. and another with the Unreal Engines' development UI overlayed on top of it. The Japanese text on top of the portraits of Donald and Goofy read as 'Placeholder.'
The second image features slightly different images for the portraits being in idle mode.
Looking at the monster in the first image, it appears to have the symbol for the Unversed on its face, as well as have the symbol mimicked in the shape of the monster's hands. It would make send for the Unversed to go to Monsters Inc., as that's where the screams of children are stored and the Unversed feeds on negativity.
That, of course, suggests that Monsters Inc. is still collecting screams and not the laughs of children. Check out the images below.
