Last month, someone who claimed to work with a company that creates pre-order cards for a couple department stores and detailed two upcoming games, Far Cry 5 and Assassin's Creed Origins. This leaker was one of the first people to name the upcoming Assassin's Creed game as Assassin's Creed Origins and included a description of what the game's pre-order card looked like – at least the Gold Edition.
In the image below (provided by Redditor jimmyfallon_), we can see the pre-order card for Assassin's Creed Origins Gold Edition, which includes the base game, a deluxe pack, Season Pass, Steelbook, and a bonus mission, but the mission is only included if you pre-order it.
Here's what the leaker said about the pre-order card in May:
I didn’t get to look at it for long but it was art for a reservation card for a US retailer. The game is called Assassin’s Creed Origins and looks very much like it’s set in Egypt. The artwork had a city with a pyramid in the background. In the centre of the card there is the new assassin walking toward the city. It looked like he was carrying a shield, a bow, and he had a hawk of some sort on his shoulder.
Last bit of note is the reservation is for the Gold edition of the game which has the base game, the season pass and comes in a steelbook packaging.
The only thing working against this photo is that Ubisoft has changed their logo. The change occurred recently, so this card could have been printed prior to the logo change.
