Rumor: Microsoft to announce new standard Xbox controller and Elite Xbox One during E3

Microsoft's Xbox One has been the focus of a number of rumors recently, specifically concerning the second generation Xbox One that was revealed through an FCC filing, which contained wording that suggested a new controller and recently shared production plan.

According to Brad Sams  of Thurrott (via NeoGaf), Microsoft is planning to reveal new hardware during E3.

Speaking with "sources inside the company" Sams has revealed that Microsoft will be revealing a new standard controller that will look like the current controller, but with an update and will ship with the Xbox One. This 'update' will explore "interactions between the PC and the Xbox One."

In addition to the controller, Sams is reporting the Microsoft will be revealing something "much bigger" than an updated standard controller. Sams suggests that the 'bigger' item may be an Elite console to go along with the Elite controller.
