Update: Capcom's Christian Svennson has confirmed the image "is completely fake."
Original Story: Capcom is at it again, if an internal listing at GameStop for an Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3X is legitimate.
Discovered by a NeoGAF forum member, the listing includes a placeholder image that reads, "Expand the ultimate experience. 8 new challengers join the fight!"
It's listed for a July 3 release – $14.99 for a download voucher (to apply to existing copies of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3) and $39.99 for a packaged disc version.
Responding to the rumor on Twitter, game producer Ryota Niitsuma said, "The costume packs have been delivered, for now that is all."
