Infinity Ward might as well reveal the upcoming addition to the Call of Duty franchise now, because leaks have overtaken the internet. Earlier today, it was leaked that the next game will be revealed on Tuesday of next week (May 3rd).
The latest leak, reported by NeoGaf, is that the game will be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
Infinite Warfare will be taking the series back to the 'Warefare' titles started by Infinity Ward with the Modern Warfare games. The game has been rumored to be "reaching new heights" by being set in the 'future' and featuring 'combat in spaceships.'
The validity of the name has yet to be confirmed with Infinity Ward, but it seems much more likely than the gaming being a sequel to Ghosts.
