It looks like we have been given a glimpse of the Nintendo Switch's launch lineup ahead of Nintendo's reveal event! Apparently, a GameStop employee in Germany took a picture of the GameStop system which openly displayed all of the Switch's launch games, as well as their release date.
As with most things on the internet, take this with a grain of salt.
While the image certainly looks like the GameStop system, there's definitely the potential for the image to be faked. With that in mind, let's take a look at the image below:
According to the image, 13 games have been revealed to launch alongside the Nintendo Switch on March 19th. The release date is more than likely a placeholder date, considering that the 19th is a Sunday – a date which isn't typical for game releases and a day when German GameStop stores are closed. It is very possible that the system will release on the Friday prior to the 19th.
As for the games, here's what is listed in the image (it can be hard to read):
- Dragon Quest X
- Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Splatoon
- Mario Kart 8
- NBA
- Elder Scrolls Skyrim
- Mario
- Sonic
- Monster Hunter
- Dragon Quest XI
- Lego City: Undercover Join the Chase
- Just Dance 2017
- Project Sonic 2017
Nintendo will officially be unveiling the Switch this Friday, with a follow-up even specifically for Nintendo Switch games. We will hear the official release date and lineup then! This leak comes shortly after a number of accessories for the Switch leaked.
