Rumor: Nintendo Switch promotional goods headed to Gamestop next week; Breath of the Wild pre-orders too

An insider has given us an update on when GameStop will begin showing of Switch goodies and when to expect The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild pre-orders!

YouTuber GoNintendo revealed that a close insider friend of theirs has confirmed that the game and electronics retailer, GameStop, will be preparing for the Nintendo Switch very soon. According to the insider, GameStop stores have received an email detailing that promotional items for the Switch will be arriving shortly.

Specifically speaking, "posters, stands, display boxes and more" will be appearing in stores next week. This means that we could be getting more information on the Switch's specifics – especially with the appearance of display boxes!

The email didn't stop there, though, while The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was rumored to be missing its Q1 2017 release date, it appears as though the game will be up for pre-order very soon – at least according to the email. Unfortunately, Gamestop will be allowing you to pre-order the game… with an unconfirmed release date. Breath of the Wild's release date on the Switch is still TBD at GameStop.
