Rumor: One of August’s ‘Games with Gold’ titles leaked

The end of July is near and that means that we must begin preparing ourselves for the announcement of August's PlayStation Plus and Games with Gold titles. Well, you know, the official announcement for the games, seeing as they are bound to leak any day now.

The first game for August's Games with Gold has apparently been leaked by the same person behind the July Games with Gold leak and the Gears of War 4 Xbox One S bundle leak. According to this individual, Ekim, Spelunky will be featured in next month's Games with Gold.

Spelunky was first released in 2008 for PC and released later for the Xbox 360 (in 2012), the PS3/Vita (2013), and the PS4 (in 2014). If it's going to be available through Games with Gold as an Xbox 360 game, there's a chance that it will also be backward compatible for the Xbox One – especially since it released on the PS4.

More August games might be revealed for Games with Gold soon, but until then, let's be happy with one.
