Rumor: PS4 Neo to be unveiled September 7th

With fall rapidly approaching, and Microsoft already having announced Project Scorpio, gamers are wondering just where the hell is the PS4K? Original rumors had it releasing alongside PSVR. But that’s 2 months away. Surely it’s too late to make an announcement?

Not if you believe this report from Gameblog, further supported by sources with Vice, which claims Sony will host an event on September 7th to unveil their updated console. Many may think that this would indeed be too late, but it seems that Sony is pulling an Apple, a company that historically announces new products mere weeks before they are available. This would, of course, be the polar opposite move Microsoft made, who announced their console over a year before its release.

Project Scorpio is still reportedly more powerful than PS4.5/4K/Neo, and it would be very unlikely there would be any changes on that front considering the announcement is reportedly on a month away. We won’t have to wait long it seems to know exactly what Neo is!
