ReCore, the Xbox One console exclusive from Executive Producer Keiji Inafune (Mega Man) might be getting a second shot at life via a Definitive Edition if rumors are to be believed. As reported by DualShockers, "ReCore: Definitive Edition" has been rated by PEGI, the European Ratings Board. The listing gave a release date of August 8th, 2017, but given that the date has come and gone, it was definitely a typo at the very least.
That said, Redditor qkana has pulled up a tweet from Saurabh Charde, which points not only to the game's existence but a release date as well as some added features. Check it out:
ReCore originally released in September 2016 as a budget Xbox One exclusive to some rather disappointing reviews. Long load times and design issues were what ended up holding the game back, though the former was addressed in a much-needed patch. While a Definitive Edition can't completely rectify everything that was wrong with the original, the added HDR and High-resolution graphics should help the game look and perform well on Xbox One X.
The August 29th release date is far from set in stone, but given that the game has been rated by an official ratings board, it seems only a matter of time before the game is confirmed to the public.
