Another video game retailer in the UK has supposedly leaked yet another release date for Red Dead Redemption 2. Base has listed the game as available for pre-order on their website, and currently shows a release date of September 26th, 2017. The date does fall on a Tuesday when most games traditionally release and falls in line with the Fall 2017 release window that Rockstar has given.
Here's a screenshot of their Red Dead Redemption 2 listing:
This is by no means a confirmation, but it's worth noting that thisgengaming checked with Base to see if the date was just a placeholder, but confirmed that placeholder dates were generally listed as December 31st, 2017. Still, another release date of October 2nd, 2017 was leaked by a different online UK retailer, Littlewoods, for Red Dead Redemption 2 a few months back. That day falls on a Monday, which seems a lot less likely.
Obviously, we will still have to wait and see if the date turns out to be accurate, but at this point, we can probably expect it to be revealed at E3 2017, where the game will likely be one of, if not the main attraction, at the show.
