Rumor: Red Dead Redemption 2 release date leaked (again)

Rockstar Games officially delayed Red Dead Redemption 2 to a ‘Spring 2018’ release back in May 2017. Before the game was delayed there were plenty of rumors on 2017 release dates.

After the release was delayed, new rumors sprung up, suggesting a release date of June 8th, 2018 for Red Dead Redemption 2. Yet another release date has surfaced for the game, this time from Amazon Mexico.

According to a listing on Amazon Mexico, Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on Thursday, July 12th, 2018. This is one of the first rumors that puts the game into a July release and is a couple of weeks outside the ‘Spring’ release window. Other Amazon listings for Red Dead Redemption 2 have placeholder dates, for the most part.

It should be noted that, Rockstar has not officially revealed a release date for Red Dead Redemption, beyond the ‘Spring 2018’ release window.

This means take everything you hear about the game with a grain of salt until Rockstar announces it themselves. In the past, Rockstar has announced the release dates for major games towards the end of January. We could be on the verge of an announcement for the game’s official release date soon, so, hold tight.
