Popular UK game retailer, GAME, has seemingly announced that Nintendo is planning on bringing Pokemon Crystal to the 3DS Virtual Console. Without Nintendo providing any confirmation, it's unclear whether or not the game will indeed hit the 3DS Virtual Console or not.
The announcement has not been deleted or backtracked on, and another location for the same retailed teased that they 'have their sources.'
Earlier this year, data miners located files in the Virtual Console release of Pokemon Gold that suggested Crystal would be making an eventual release. While Nintendo has not yet confirmed anything, look at the sheer number of Pokemon games that have been ported to the Virtual Console, it seems likely that this port will happen one day.
