If you were a fan of the idea behind Tokyo RPG Factory's founding, or enjoyed their first development effort, I Am Setsuna, then this may be good news to you: Square Enix has trademarked Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth, a possible new title from Tokyo RPG Factory.
When Square Enix reported a 244 million yen loss related to Tokyo RPG Factory, some gaming websites got a little ahead of themselves with the doom and gloom forecast: The financial data came before I Am Setsuna (the company's only game to date) had released outside of Japan, probably included the total cost of starting the company (not just development of I Am Setsuna), and many readers failed to realize the loss was in Yen, not USD (2.5 million), which is a pretty significant difference.
While there's currently no proof Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth is being made by Tokyo RPG Factory, the circumstantial evidence is there: Given that it shares the same naming scheme as I Am Setsuna (Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna in Japanese), I Am Setsuna has become a sleeper hit of sorts, and Tokyo RPG Factory has to be working on something for them to still exist, Kimi to Kiri no Labyrinth being the next Tokyo RPG Factory release would seem to be a fairly safe assumption.
