The release date for the highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a major mystery among gamers. It's been in development for years, we've seen tons of gameplay, but we have no idea when it's coming out (other than 2017).
One insider who has leaked TONS of Nintendo stuff who previously said the game wouldn't launch with the Switch has retracted her statement and confirmed it will launch with the Switch. You should take this with a grain of salt until we get official confirmation at the Nintendo Switch event on January 12th.
Contrary to my past report on BOTW release date it is 100% coming at Switch launch in North America in March. Have seen finalised materials.

It does sound slightly plausible because she has a good track record and she mentions she saw finalized materials (probably a promo poster or trailer) that could be coming to retailers sometime this week if a previous rumor is anything to go off of.
We saw The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild running on the Switch last month on Jimmy Fallon's talk show. The demo we saw wasn't scripted or a vertical slice so that does mean that the game is playable to an extent.
The Nintendo Switch will drop sometime in March.
