Rumor: Is This a PSP 2 Dev Kit?

Gaming site VG247 claims to have obtained pictures of a prototype for the long-rumored PSP 2 (not to be confused with the PSP Phone, which is a different device).

We can’t confirm the legitimacy of the images, but it looks a lot like we’d expect based on the rumors that have circulated around the internet in the past. It features the same slide-out design as the PSPgo. New are the front-and-back-facing cameras, twin nubs and a trackpad on the back of the handheld.

It’s very difficult to gauge its size, but I’m curious to see how well that button layout will feel. That is, if the hardware doesn’t undergo any major changes.
