Leaked images that were rumored to be Battlefield 4 screenshots are just that, rumors. The batch of images, which many thought to be a first look at what next-gen consoles were capable of producing, was actually taken from a cinematic trailer created by Visual Art for Battlefield 3 over a year ago.
According to the video description, Visual Art was approached by EA and Widen+Kennedy to create a video to bring life to Battlefield 3's front man. They did a pretty damn good job. While we're a bit disappointed these aren't actually screenshots for Battlefield 4, we're hoping next-gen consoles can get close to reproducing this. Fingers crossed!
