Rune Factory 4 comes to 3DS in early October

Today Xseed Games announced the release date for Rune Factory 4, or Harvest Moon life sim meets dungeon-crawler. It launches on October 1 on Nintendo 3DS in North America.

This is the first Rune Factory game that Xseed Games has published since Rune Factory Frontier for Wii back in 2009.

Rune Factory 4 will be available in stores and as a digital release on eShop for $40. In exchange, you'll get a lot of content.

For the first time, players can be a male or female hero and woo marriage candidates as they farm, raise monster friends, enlist companions — and battle, of course.

This is the first Rune Factory game for the 3DS.
