Ryan Phillippe in talks with Marvel for a role in upcoming Netflix show

Ryan Phillippe, the man who was almost Harvey Dent in the Batman films, is in talks with Marvel about entering the Netflix scene, according to an interview on the Stern Show. Phillippe didn't go into detail on which show he was in talks about, but that doesn't mean we can't guess.

The only Marvel/Netflix series that is looking for a lead role is Iron Fist. Marvel's Iron Fist is part of the Defender's series with Daredevil, A.K.A Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage. Now, that's only if Phillippe lands a major role; he could very well be in talks for a villain.

We should note that "in talks" doesn't mean he will necessarily get the role. Remember, he was almost Harvey Dent.
