Often times actors will sub in for press to interview other actors in a "talent roast". These usually tie in with an upcoming film or project that one of them are working on, and that's just what happened with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman about the star's upcoming film Eddie the Eagle.
In a press event for Jackman's Eddie the Eagle, Ryan Reynolds, star of the newly released superhero blockbuster Deadpool, decided to have some fun and crash the event in order to interview the actor.
Of course, it was all staged but hysterical nonetheless. It begins with Reynolds asking "Many actors do all their own stunts. Do you do all your own acting?" and Jackman responding with "If they're sex scenes I do em.'" In fact, I had to clean the coffee I spit on my screen from laughing so hard when he asked "How much of Hugh Jackman's success is raw talent, and how much is advantageous bone structure?"
The interview goes on with references to both of the actors' various films as well as Reynolds even name dropping his own wife. The video is only three minutes long but hysterical all the way through.
Jackman's Eddie the Eagle hits theaters on February 25th, 2016.
It's worth mentioning, these actors have a history together, with Reynolds first appearing as Deadpool in Jackman's X-Men Origins: Wolverine. While Jackman did not appear in the latest Deadpool standalone film — which much more accurately portrays the Merc with a Mouth — there were several nods to the actor and Wolverine.
