Ryan Reynolds is starring in the upcoming Deadpool movie, and it appears the character's signature humor is starting to rub off on the actor.
Earlier this week, Hugh Jackman took to Twitter to request input on what fans want to see for his final portrayal as Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds weight in with a response truly worthy of the Merc with a Mouth.
Not sure if it's been done, but what if Logan and Deadpool enlist in the Navy's elite Top Gun Program? #volleyball https://t.co/Pi9UbxcJ0z

Wolverine and Deadpool have quite a history together, though I don't recall them ever playing volleyball on a beach. Then again, this zany idea pitched by Reynolds might be more accurate than the last time the duo met in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Marvel fans have longed for a proper encounter between Wolverine and Deadpool on the big screen, but with Jackman confirming a few months ago that the next solo Wolverine film would be his last appearance as the iconic character, hopes are dim. Of course, it's possible we could see a Wolverine cameo in Deadpool, which is set to hit theaters in February 2016, or a Deadpool cameo in the final Wolverine film. Earlier this month at San Diego Comic-Con, Jackman took the stage during Fox's panel, suggesting his final portrayal as Wolverine could come in the form of Old Man Logan. Unfortunately, I don't recall Deadpool making an appearance in the Old Man Logan comic.
