Ryan Reynolds reveals Domino will be added to Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2 has gone through some changes lately with Director Tim Miller leaving the project and the film gaining John Wick director David Leitch to take over. We've known that Cable will be in the film, but Ryan Reynolds himself revealed another interesting addition.

Speaking with EW, Reynolds stated that Domino would be added into the film as well. Domino is a female mercenary who's real name is Neena Thurman. In the comics, Domino was genetically engineered as part of Project Armageddon – a secret US government program to create the perfect mutant. As time went on, she became both romantically involved with and a "teammate" of Cable as they tended to work together often. She eventually became a member of the X-men as well.

There is strong reason to add Domino, as there have been rumors that his girlfriend in the film, Vanessa, is in fact Domino herself. One of her main abilities is telekenisis and the manipulation of luck. In order to change luck in her favor, Domino has to interact with anything she can see. Her ability causes things to turn out in her favor and, of course, not in her enemy's favor. There is a lot of evidence to support that Vanessa is in fact Domino, so hopefully that was the plan all along for the sequel.

Currently, Deadpool 2 is set to begin filming early next year and release in 2018
