Ryan Reynolds to cameo in this year’s ‘Family Guy’ Christmas episode

It looks like Ryan Reynolds is becoming a Seth MacFarlane staple. Not only did he star in an episode of Family Guy last year (as himself), but he was a really funny and unexpected cameo in MacFarlane's big-screen comedy Ted. It looks like those abs aren't enough to quench MacFarlane's Reynolds thirst.

Ryan Reynolds will be lending his voice for next season's (season 11) Christmas episode. His cameo will have him voicing someone that Family Guy executive producer Mark Hentemann described: "He's God's previous attempt at an immaculate conception — his first son that didn't quite work out."

Family Guy is no stranger to both controversial Christmas episodes and criticisms of Christianity. But if you don't like it, don't watch it. It's always funny, regardless.

Season 11 of Family Guy kicks off on September 30, 2012 on Fox. Some other celebrities that'll lend their voices to the show are Johnny Depp, Elizabeth Banks and Kellan Lutz.
