In an announcement that surprises no one, actor Ryan Reynold will star in Fox's upcoming Deadpool movie.
Again, this surprises no one. Everyone wanted Reynolds, he wanted to do it, and he's the perfect choice.
According to the LA Times, Fox confirmed the casting Thursday afternoon. Reynold first played Deadpool in the dreadful X-Men: Origins – Wolverine, where his character was pretty much wated and ruined. Tim Miller will direct the new film.
Deadpool is set to open in theaters on February 12, 2016. I'm holding out for an R rating, like Deadpool SHOULD be. But we'll see…
