Sacred Citadel reveal trailer has ‘wild warriors’ and ‘b*tchin’ battles’

I've always been a fan of the word "b*tchin'." Ever since I heard it on The Simpsons when I was a wee lad (and The Simpsons was still a watchable show), I immediately knew the word was awesome. You don't hear "b*tchin'" being thrown around all too often, but when it is, it's usually due to a big event or happening.

Case in point: Deep Silver and Southend Interactive have launched the reveal trailer for Sacred Citadel, which surfaced on the good ol' internet yesterday, and they made sure to point out that the game would feature "wild warriors" and "b*tchin' battles." Hmm … B*tchin battles? Is that something I (or any sane person) would be interested in? Uh, yeah!

Sacred Citadel is based on Deep Silver's long-running Sacred franchise, and it will feature colorful 2D beat 'em up gameplay for up to three players. You'll be able to loot items, dual wield weapons, ride mounts, and more in this arcade-inspired brawler. Sacred Citadel will also feature RPG elements, and as you can tell from the trailer above, some massive bosses, too. Aww, yeah!

Set to take place before the upcoming Sacred 3, Sacred Citadel will brawl its way to Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and PC next year. Watch out for it, and prepare to engage in some b*tchin battles! I know I'll be ready.
