Sailor Moon fans are getting blasted with good news today as a musical for the iconic anime is on its way to the United States in celebration of the series’ 25th anniversary.
The production takes place April 7 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston as part of Anime Matsuri which runs from April 7-9.
This isn’t the first time the anime has been featured as a musical. In fact, it started back in 1993 when Sailor Moon was presented in live-action format to entertain students during the holidays. It was eventually turned into a full-fledged play in 2013.
