Saints Row 4 was awesome. So awesome, in fact, that Deep Silver is bringing it to next-gen consoles. Announced today at PAX Prime, Saints Row 4: Re-Elected will be available for Xbox One and PS4 on January 27, 2015.
For those who haven't played Saints Row 4, it centers on you, leader of the Saints turned President of the United States. Now the figurehead for Democracy, it's up to you to defend the freedom of millions following a catastrophic alien invasion that eventually transports you and the rest of the Saints to a bizarre Steelport simulation.
The cool thing about being stuck in a simulation though? It allowed for some crazier gameplay thanks to the introduction of super powers and even stranger weapons, like the Dubstep Gun.
Saints Row 4: Re-Elected will be available on January 27, 2015, which also just so happens to be the release of the standalone expansion, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell, also announced today. It'll be available for $30, or as part of a bundle with Gat Out of Hell for $50.
