Sometimes I wish I had a decent rig for playing PC games. Currently, my computer can only handle 16-bit titles and most indie games. That's fine, because I absolutely love indie games. But once in a while I would like to get in on these crazy Steam deals. Two of the latest sales, for example, are pretty damn awesome.
First, you can score Saints Row: The Third for half off its original price. That's one hell of a game for just $24.99. You can also get the game along with the strategy guide, a $62 value, for just $31.49! Geez, I just realized I sound like a used car salesman. Well, damn it, for Saints Row: The Third, you're darn right I'll make my best sales pitch!
Don't feel like strapping it on? (What's wrong with you?) Then maybe you'd be interested in being a rotten crook in Payday: The Heist, which is also half off. You can snag the full game for just $9.99, or you can get the four-pack for $29.99 and be a rotten crook with your pals. Also, from now until Sunday, you can play the game for free, which is all kinds of awesome.
So yeah, if you have yet to play either Saints Row: The Third or Payday: The Heist but have been meaning to, definitely take advantage of these sales. And do it quick, because these are weekend sales, and they end on Monday, March 5. It's a good time to be a Steam gamer with a much better rig than I've got.
