Sale reports say the UK loves Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; Biggest Pokémon launch ever

It seems as though the UK desperately wanted Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, way more than they wanted X and Y. In fact, the want started with the pre-orders – early on the UK put in more pre-orders for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire than they did for X and Y.

You could go as far to say that the world wanted Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, seeing as the games sold 3 million games world wide.

In UK sales alone, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire combined outsold X and Y by 17% (according to Chart-Track). This makes Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire the biggest Pokémon game to launch in the UK, ever. The last Pokémon game that almost sold this much in the UK was the DS' Black and White. The reason people want it might be because of the new features or because of it being a Hoenn region remake (which is awesome)!

Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launched in Europe on November 28, 2014.
