Samurai Warriors 4 heading west?

Currently in development for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan, there are many fans of the Warriors franchise that would like to know if there's any plans for Samurai Warriors 4 to have a western release? Luckily, Warriors producer Hisashi Koinuma is listening.

On Twitter, he was asked by a fan, "Can we get Samurai Warriors 4 for the West please?"

In response, Koinuma tweeted:

Great news! So, we can hopefully expect the game in the west this coming summer. The game is currently set to release in Japan on March 20 for the PS3 and Vita.

Samurai Warriors 4 features more than 50 character, including all of the warlords that were in the past Samurai Warriors games. The story focuses on two brothers fighting for rival clans — Sanda Yukimura for the Toyotomi clan and Nobuyuki for the Tokugawa clan.
