Save 50% on Modern Warfare 3 and all DLC on Xbox LIVE

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is still very much alive on Xbox 360. The game, which released over a year ago, placed fifth among the top Xbox Live titles in the latest activity reports. Clearly, there's still an active player base. Hoping to expand on that, Microsoft is offering a one day sale on all things Modern Warfare 3.

The game and its four DLC packs are all 50% of on Xbox 360 for today only. Modern Warfare 3 normally costs $59.99, but with today's 50% discount you can get it through Microsoft's Games on Demand for just $29.99. The fact that the game still commands such a respectable price this long after release is a testament to its replayability.

That's because it was supported with a year's worth of DLC add-ons, which Microsoft is also discounted 50%. Normally each MW3 Collection would run you 1200 Microsoft Points (or $15). Today, you can get them for 600 Microsoft Points ($7.50). If you haven't yet played Modern Warfare 3, this is actually a pretty great deal.
