Scott Pilgrim DLC releases after several delays

Update at 7:23 p.m.: The DLC also lands on Xbox Live Arcade tomorrow for 400 Microsoft Points.

After a series of delays and even a suspected cancelation, the promised downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game has finally arrived.

The DLC pack contains the extra character Wallace Wells along with online multiplayer. It's coming out tomorrow on PlayStation Network for $4.99 and includes four new Trophies. PlayStation Plus members can save 20 percent on the DLC and the updated Ultimate Edition for the first two weeks of release, according to the PlayStation Blog.

The side-scrolling beat-em-up is based on Bryan Lee O'Malley's popular graphic novel of the same name.

A previous content pack introduced the playable character Knives Chau and two game modes. Scott Pilgrim released on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade in August 2010, around the same time as the movie.
