Fans waited for this moment for over six years. Way back in 2014, the original Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game vanished from digital stores everywhere. This meant you could no longer purchase the game at all. That’s because the game was a digital-only release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
A real shame since Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is one of the better modern 2D beat ’em up games that take cues from the cult genre. On top of that, as an adaptation of the popular comic and movie of the same name, the game was also one of the best video game adaptations ever.
Rediscover the beloved 2D arcade-style beat ’em up game inspired by the iconic comic book series and movie.
But such is the world of licensing and digital-only distribution. At least until now. Years upon years of fan requests finally led to the return of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game. Not only that but as the complete edition, the new version includes all previous DLC in one neat package.
The same awesome music is also available in the new release. Alongside very welcome modern features like drop-in, drop-out local and online multiplayer. A must for every beat ’em up game.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game – Complete Edition will be available for PC via the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store. Subscribers of Ubisoft+ will get instant access at no additional cost. Furthermore, the title will launch for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. The latter two versions will also be playable on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
