SDCC 2016: BBC releases the first trailer for ‘Sherlock’ season 4

The BBC has released the first official trailer for the upcoming season 4 of 'Sherlock'. Check it out above!

The San Diego Comic Con this year was one of the biggest in years. So much content to keep fans and newcomers alike occupied for months. While Warner Bros. and Marvel Studios may have stolen the show and dropped the biggest surprises from the Marvel and DC universes, other networks and studios made sure they weren't out of the loop. During the event, BBC dropped the first official trailer for the fourth season of the hit series, 'Sherlock'.

When we last saw our troubled hero, Sherlock Holmes (Benedict Cumberbatch), was finishing his four minute exile after ending the life of the maniacal Augustus Magnussen. Working out a difficult case from the 1800's as a brain exercise ('The Abominable Bride'), he drops the bombshell that he is almost constantly under the infulence of some cocktail of hallucinagenic drugs in order to help his thinking process. Now, tortured by the mystery of Moriarty's possible return, he finds a new threat looms over London.
