SDCC 2016: FOX releases the first trailer for ‘Gotham’ season 3

FOX has released the first official trailer for season three of the popular Batman prequel series, 'Gotham'. Check it out above!

At this year's San Diego Comic Con, FOX has managed to unload trailers for several of their upcoming television projects for both Marvel and DC. Thanks to the resounding success of their Batman based series, 'Gotham', the show is returning for a third season and they've just released the first trailer.

Most of the beginning of the trailer is just review. It goes over where we left off with Jim Gordon, where the young Bruce Wayne stands in the plot, and what villains were setup over the last two seasons. Now, the new footage includes an overall story revolving around the mysterious Court of Owls, the return of Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith), now with the power of persuasion at her disposal, and the escaped mutant experiments from Professor Hugo Strange's Indian Hill facility running amok in Gotham City.

Gotham season 3 premieres on FOX September 19th!
