SDCC 2016: Gal Gadot reveals the first teaser poster for ‘Wonder Woman’

Gal Gadot unveils the first teaser poster for the upcoming superhero epic, Wonder Woman.

The annual San Diego Comic Con International is upon us once again and the maelstrom of reveals and updates are on the rise. From Star Wars to Star Trek, from Marvel to DC, the news just keeps getting better and they continue to whet out appetites for whats to come over the next year.

Recently, Gal Gadot took to twitter to reveal something we've all been waiting for, the very first teaser poster for her upcoming solo foray into the superhero genre with next year's Wonder Woman:

The poster is pretty basic, just showing the legendary amazon standing strong with her sword and her famous Lasso of Truth. Wonder Woman made her first appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but in 2017, we'll get to see her origin story for the first time in a cinematic context before she teams up with the other DC legends for the ensemble Justice League film.

The movie stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, Star Trek: Beyond's Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, along with Robin Wright and Connie Nielson.

Wonder Woman releases June 2, 2017!
