Marvel Studios has released the official logo for the upcoming 'Thor: Ragnarok', as well as confirming Hulk's role in the movie.
While many consider 'Thor: The Dark World' to be one the weaker movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the third installment, 'Thor: Ragnarok', is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated films on the dockett. Ever since it was confirmed that Mark Ruffalo would be joining the thunder god as Dr. Bruce Banner aka Hulk, fans have been speculating what could be in store for the green goliath for the first ever Marvel team-up movie.
At the Marvel Studios panel at this year's San Diego Comic Con, many of those questions were answered. First and foremost, they revealed what the official logo (pictured above) would look like. For some reason, they've elected to give it a retro, 80's video game design. What this has to do with the movie is still up for interpretation.
As far as the Hulk's part in the movie, it seems that the many fan theories that point the 'Planet Hulk' storyline may have been well founded:

Here, you can see the armor set that Hulk will be wearing at some point in the film. The armor is almost an exact replica of his gladiator armor from the 'Planet Hulk' comic. Now, it's still unclear if that story will play into the final plot of the movie, or if the armor is nothing more than a shoutout, but seeing Hulk wearing it in the final product, should leave fans swooning for decades.
The movie stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk/Dr. Bruce Banner, with Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Cate Blanchett, and Karl Urban.
Thor: Ragnarok releases November 3, 2017!
