SDCC 2016: Warner Bros. releases the first trailer for ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’

Warner Bros. has just revealed the first official trailer for the upcoming epic, 'King Arthur: Legend of the Sword'. Check it out above!

This year's San Diego Comic Con International has made way for so many surprises for fans the world over. Recently, Warner Bros. has dropped the first official trailer for the upcoming reimagining of the classic tale with 'King Arthur: Legend of the Sword'.

The trailer shows us a good amount of footage. We see what appears to be Arthur (Charlie Hunnam) running through the streets with his midieval posse. We eventually see that inevitable moment when he pulls the legendary sword, Excalibur, from that stone, which is when things take a turn. It looks this interpretation of the story will rely heavily on the magic and fantasy aspects, which should make for a pretty exciting story, unlike the more realistic, gritty version we last saw with 2004's 'King Arthur' starring Clive Owen and Kiera Knightly.

The movie stars Charlie Hunnam, Eric Bana, Jude Law, Aiden Gillen, and Djimon Hounsou, and is directed by Guy Ritchie.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword releases March 24, 2017!
