Second Angry Birds trailer is still adorable, still so angry

The fine folks at Rovio released a new trailer for the upcoming Angry Birds movie last night. The first trailer didn't reveal too much about the movie, but this one shows some more story and is surprisingly quite funny.

Like most people I know, I also laughed it off when I heard an Angry Birds movie was coming out. After all, what could you expect? Well, it looks like Rovio pulled it off.

The new trailer shows Red, the nerdy red bird who never fit in as a kid. Picked on at school and ignored by the girls as he grew up, it was a struggle to make friends. Only once a group of visitors in green piggies visit the island do people finally start to pay attention to Red.

Red doesn't trust the piggies and for good reason. It soon becomes evident what the piggies are really up to and it's up to the birds to get rid of them. Red, his friend speedy (yellow bird) and Bomb (black bird) start off on their quest to expel the piggies from their home. An all-star voice cast is set to accompany the movie with the likes of Jason Sudeikis, Maya Rudolph, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, Bill Hader and more. It was also recently revealed the country music star Blake Shelton is lending his voice as a "country" pig in the film, and will sing a song on the movie's soundtrack.
