Secret Capcom, Namco, Sega Nintendo 3DS game teaser updated

As some of you may recall, a little over a week ago, a teaser site for what appears to be a collaborative project between Japanese game publishers Capcom, Namco Bandai, and Sega popped up revealing a brand new Nintendo 3DS project.

At the time, the site showed a short clip of a vault being unlocked with the numerical code 03-27-60.  Behind the vault were the logos of each respective company.

Thanks to users on NeoGAF, we now have a better idea of what the clip was all about.  The scientist opening the vault is still there, but the flash-based website was updated to allow users to click around a little.  After the vault is opened, you can now click on the logos of each company, which are actually inside of petri dishes.

Within each petri dish are three differently colored X chromosomes.

What does it all mean?  Well, we can't say for sure, but it looks like some clever NeoGAF posters have a pretty solid theory going.  The current theory suggests that the different color schemes for each chromosome represent characters from each of the publishers' arsenal of characters – suggesting some sort of crossover title.

As of right now some character guesses include Chris or Leon from Resident Evil, Zero from Mega Man X, Kite from .hack, Bayonetta and Hatsune Miku.

What do you think it could all mean?
