Three months ago, Square Enix graced us with an announcement of a remake of Secret of Mana on PS4, Vita, and PC. A totally unexpected, but quite anticipated project, it was mildly upsetting to learn that the game would be digital only. But Square Enix announced a small relief on this matter today.
A physical edition of the Secret of Mana remake is scoming for PlayStation 4. However, this phhysical edition is coming in limited quantities exclusively at GameStop in the United States, EB Games in Canada, and various retailers in Latin America.
The physical edition will also be PS4 only, with no plans on a Vita or PC physical release. Pre-ordering the physical edition will grant an exclusive Moogle Suit for Randi, Primm and Popoi in game. It also includes tthe tiger two-piece for Primm, and the tiger suit for Randi and Popoi.
The game is definitely a love letter to the original, as seen by the screenshots released previously. Secret of Mana is set to release worldwide for PlayStation 4, PS Vita and PC on February 15.
